Dear Parents
& Students,
Here it is the month
of Thanksgiving yet again. Every time we
step into the studio we are reminded of how
much we have to be grateful for. All of our
students, from the youngest three year olds
to our senior citizens, brings us countless
hours of joy as do our wonderful faculty
and our warm and welcoming staff.
May you enjoy a
restful and happy Thanksgiving with your
family and friends.

Costume
Sizes: Please
be sure you have check and initial your
costume size(s) with the desk staff. Please
note, extra small and extra large sized
costumes can not be exchanged for
alternate sizes and are more expensive since
they are cut individually. Changing
from a child's size to an adult size or
changing to an extra large size (or vice
versa) will change the costume's price.
Costume
Ordering: All costumes
and tights are ordered in December so they
arrive prior to picture days in April. We
expect costumes to arrive in late March or
early April. Photos of costumes are posted
in the waiting room of both studios. It
is our current policy to order costumes
only for students whose tuition payments
are up to date. The average costume cost
is $45-$60 for children's sizes and
$60-$70 for adults and extra large
children sizes.
Costume
Bills: We began distributing
costume bills at the studio on Saturday,
November 10th. If you have
not received your bill or have lost your
bill, please email Nancy at nancy@danceextension.com.
Payment Due
Date: Costume &
tight payments are due on Saturday,
December 1st. All payments
received or postmarked after December 1st
will incur a $20 processing fee since a
separate order must be made with the costume
company. Costume payments are
non-refundable. If
you made a costume deposit, it will be
deducted from your bill.
How to
Pay: Costumes may be paid for in cash
or by check made payable to MAGGIE DENNIS,
and must be separate from tuition
payments. One check may be
written for costumes and tights. To
arrange an alternate payment schedule,
please call Nancy at the 860-443-1154.
There is a $25 fee for all checks returned
by the bank.
Where to
Pay Your Bill:
1. Give
it to the desk staff member at the
studio during operating hours.
2. Leave it
in the envelope on the Chapman Studio
door

hours/day.
3. Mail it to Maggie
Dennis, 8 Chapman Avenue,
Please do not
use the mailbox outside our New
London Studio as it is not secure.
All patrons of the New London Shopping
Center can access the mailbox.

Dancer of the Year Award
Congratulations to Amanda
Mehlman who was selected by the
faculty to receive this award! Amanda will
receive a tuition scholarship to the
Tremaine Convention (January, 2008 in N.Y.C.),
a dance bag, t-shirt & award
certificate.

Studio Dancer of the Year Award
Congratulations to Suzanne
Lane who was chosen by the
faculty to receive this award! Suzanne
will receive a gift certificate to
Discount Dance Supply.
CDE
Cookie Dough Sale Special
thanks to all Dance Extension parents
& students who purchased cookie dough
from a Community Dance Ensemble (CDE)
dancer! The fundraiser was a great success
again this year!
We
are always looking for positive news about
our students. Please email your dancer's

Holiday
Gift Drive
|
|
Our annual holiday
gift drive begins after Thanksgiving. In
lieu of holiday gifts for the faculty &
staff, please donate a gift on our behalf to
the Child & Family Agency of
Southeastern CT. The Agency needs new
children's books, journals, craft items and
board games. A gift tree of needed
items hangs at both of our studios. For a complete
list of items needed, see the desk staff or www.danceextension.com. Your
participation is, of course, voluntary.
Bring your unwrapped
gifts to the studio on or before
Saturday, December 15th. We will deliver all
donations to the agency in time for the
holidays.
Your generosity is
greatly appreciated. Thank you, and have a
wonderful holiday season!
