Dance Dedication Ceremony

 

The Dance Dedication Ceremony is a cherished tradition that not only celebrates the hard work and achievements of our students and inspires them to continue pursuing their passion for dance with determination and enthusiasm.

The Dance Dedication Ceremony is a celebratory event held annually in May or June honors the commitment and perseverance of our dance students who have shown continuous dedication to the art of dance. This special occasion recognizes students for years of consecutive training, highlighting their progress, hard work, and passion.

Dancers are honored with pins for continuous study at The Dance Extension for
  • 2 Years
  • 3 Years
  • 5 Years
  • 10 Years
  • "Etoile" (Star): Seniors with 10+ years continuous study at TDE

Spring 2026

Criteria

Dancers must be enrolled for the entire academic year, from September to May, to receive recognition for that year. For example, a student must be enrolled with regular attendance from September 2024 to May 2025 for the 2024-2025 dance year to count as a year of dance dedication.

Pins are awarded for continuous year upon year enrollment without gaps. â€‹Students who enroll for part of the academic year or withdraw from the school mid-year are not considered enrolled for the full year, and, therefore, are ineligible for recognition of dance dedication for that year.
